  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing the city of 
  1.3             International Falls to issue a temporary on-sale 
  1.4             intoxicating liquor license for sales on property 
  1.5             owned by a school district. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [INTERNATIONAL FALLS; TEMPORARY LICENSE.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the city of 
  1.9   International Falls may issue to a nonprofit organization or 
  1.10  corporation an on-sale license for the sale and serving of 
  1.11  intoxicating liquor in a sports arena owned by independent 
  1.12  school district No. 361.  The license authorized under this 
  1.13  section is valid for not more than seven consecutive days during 
  1.14  the months of June and July, 1995.  The license is in addition 
  1.15  to the number of on-sale licenses authorized by law.  The city 
  1.16  shall determine the fee for the license.  All provisions of 
  1.17  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not inconsistent with this 
  1.18  section, apply to the license authorized by this section. 
  1.19     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     Section 1 is effective on approval by the International 
  1.21  Falls city council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.22  section 645.021.
