  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [RAMSEY COUNTY ALL CHILDREN EXCEL (ACE) 
  1.6   PROJECT.] 
  1.7      $642,000 is appropriated from the general fund to Ramsey 
  1.8   county for the biennium ending June 30, 2001, to fund start-up 
  1.9   costs of the Ramsey county All Children Excel (ACE) Project for 
  1.10  youths 8 to 11 years of age, who are at the highest risk for 
  1.11  serious, chronic, and violent juvenile offending.
