A bill for an act
relating to human services; specifying services for a
child who is seriously emotionally disturbed;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 245.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

SERIOUSLY EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED.

new text begin A child who is seriously emotionally disturbed as defined
in section 245.4871, subdivision 15, is eligible for the
following state-funded children's mental health services:

new text begin (a) community mental health center services under section
256B.0625, subdivision 5;
new text end

new text begin (b) children's mental health crisis response services under
section 256B.0625, subdivision 23;
new text end

new text begin (c) children's therapeutic services and supports under
section 256B.0625, subdivision 35b; and

new text begin (d) subacute psychiatric care for persons under 21 years of
age.
