  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a local match for a state trail between Pelican Rapids 
  1.4             and Maplewood state park. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $300,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a 
  1.9   local match to provide easement acquisition and engineering 
  1.10  costs for a proposed state trail between Pelican Rapids and 
  1.11  Maplewood state park.  The appropriation is available until June 
  1.12  30, 1999.
