  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the city of Chisholm; increasing census 
  1.3             figures by the three percent margin of error to 
  1.4             continue state aid.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [UP CITY OF CHISHOLM POPULATION BY ERROR MARGIN 
  1.7   TO KEEP AID.] 
  1.8      If, by an upward adjustment of three percent in the 2000 
  1.9   United States census of population of the city of Chisholm, the 
  1.10  city's population continues eligibility for an aid, grant, loan, 
  1.11  or other program of financial assistance of the state, the 
  1.12  upward adjustment must be included in the city's population for 
  1.13  purposes of the program's benefits until a later federal census, 
  1.14  as similarly adjusted, no longer makes the city eligible for the 
  1.15  program's benefits.
