A bill for an act
relating to housing finance; appropriating money for an emergency shelter
facility in Hennepin County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; EMERGENCY SHELTER.

$200,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of housing finance for a grant to provide emergency
shelter programming for youth and young adults in Hennepin County. The grant must be
used for the operating expenses of a shelter.
