  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money to 
  1.3             dredge the Red Lake and Thief rivers. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $500,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a 
  1.8   grant to the city of Thief River Falls for dredging projects 
  1.9   within the city on the Red Lake river and the Thief river.  The 
  1.10  appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
