  1.2             relating to occupations; residential contractors; 
  1.3             changing the expiration date of provisions relating to 
  1.4             St. Paul and Minneapolis contractors; amending 
  1.5             Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 326.991, subdivision 
  1.6             1. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 326.991, 
  1.9   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.10     Subdivision 1.  The license requirement under section 
  1.11  326.84 does not apply to a residential building contractor, 
  1.12  residential remodeler, or specialty contractor licensed by the 
  1.13  city of St. Paul or the city of Minneapolis and who is 
  1.14  performing work within the legal boundaries of one of those 
  1.15  municipalities.  
  1.16     This subdivision expires March 31, 2000 1996.
