  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; authorizing a new deer 
  1.3             license; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 
  1.4             97A.475, subdivision 2; proposing coding for new law 
  1.5             in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 97B. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97A.475, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 2.  [RESIDENT HUNTING.] Fees for the following 
  1.10  licenses, to be issued to residents only, are: 
  1.11     (1) for persons under age 65 to take small game, $10; 
  1.12     (2) for persons age 65 or over, $5; 
  1.13     (3) to take turkey, $16; 
  1.14     (4) to take deer with firearms, $22; 
  1.15     (5) to take deer by archery, $22; 
  1.16     (6) to take moose, for a party of not more than six 
  1.17  persons, $275; 
  1.18     (7) to take bear, $33; 
  1.19     (8) to take elk, for a party of not more than two persons, 
  1.20  $220; and 
  1.21     (9) to take antlered deer in more than one zone, $44; and 
  1.22     (10) to take deer by archery, firearms, or muzzle-loading 
  1.23  firearms, $33.  
  1.24     Sec. 2.  [97B.327] [MULTIPLE METHODS OF TAKING DEER.] 
  1.25     A person taking deer under a combined license to take deer 
  2.1   by archery, firearms, or muzzle-loading firearms, may tag only 
  2.2   one deer taken by any method, but may continue taking additional 
  2.3   deer by any method under the law and rules applicable to the 
  2.4   method of taking used including, but not limited to, party 
  2.5   hunting.
