  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             stabilize river banks in East Grand Forks. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $190,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a 
  1.8   grant to the city of East Grand Forks for a river bank 
  1.9   stabilization project on the Red River of the North.  The 
  1.10  appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
