  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             to renovate and complete bicycle and running paths 
  1.4             around Lake Nokomis and Hiawatha Lake; authorizing the 
  1.5             sale of state bonds. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [NOKOMIS-HIAWATHA BICYCLE AND RUNNING PATHS.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $....... is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural 
  1.10  resources for a grant to the metropolitan council to renovate 
  1.11  the bicycle and running paths around Lake Nokomis and to 
  1.12  renovate and complete the bicycle and running paths around 
  1.13  Hiawatha Lake. 
  1.14     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.15  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.16  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.17  to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.18  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.19  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
