BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin Every three years, the commissioner of education, in consultation with mental
health organizations, must review existing mental health curriculum and recommend a
curriculum reflecting best practices as a model curriculum to middle school and high
school health teachers. The commissioner of education shall inform all middle school and
high school health teachers of this recommended model curriculum through e-mail or mail.
