  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             Minnesota historical society for expenditure as a 
  1.4             grant to Farmamerica. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; FARMAMERICA.] 
  1.7      $150,000 is appropriated from the general fund for fiscal 
  1.8   year 1996 and $150,000 for fiscal year 1997 to the Minnesota 
  1.9   historical society to be expended as a grant to Farmamerica.  
  1.10  Notwithstanding any other law, this grant may be used for 
  1.11  operational purposes. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1995.
