  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for model 
  1.3             K-12 environmental education curriculum integration. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.6      Subdivision 1.  [DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.] The sums 
  1.7   indicated in this section are appropriated from the general fund 
  1.8   to the commissioner of education for the fiscal years designated.
  1.9      Subd. 2.  [ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION.] For distributing 
  1.10  materials and conducting workshops to implement model K-12 
  1.11  environmental education curriculum integration described in Laws 
  1.12  1991, chapter 254, article 1, section 14, subdivision 5, 
  1.13  paragraph (a): 
  1.14          $30,000     .....     1996 
  1.15          $30,000     .....     1997 
  1.16     Any balance remaining in 1996 is available in 1997.
