  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Chisago county; authorizing a conveyance 
  1.3             for mutual consideration of a county-owned nursing 
  1.4             home. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 373.01, 
  1.8   subdivision 1, 447.47, or other law, Chisago county may convey 
  1.9   its Green Acres Country Care Center in the city of North Branch 
  1.10  for mutual consideration to a private party to assure continuity 
  1.11  of service to the residents and the community.  
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.  
  1.14  No local approval is required.
