  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating a road 
  1.3             right-of-way for recreation in Washington county; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $300,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of transportation for fiscal year 1998 for 
  1.9   reconstruction of the west shoulder of marked trunk highway No. 
  1.10  95 between county highway No. 4 and Elm Street in Marine on St. 
  1.11  Croix in Washington county.  The reconstructed shoulder must 
  1.12  connect with the existing recreation corridor on the marked 
  1.13  trunk highway No. 95 shoulder to serve as a walking, bicycling, 
  1.14  and snowmobiling trail.
