A bill for an act
 relating to education finance; extending the suspension of reserved revenue
for staff development for two more years; amending Laws 2011, First Special
Session chapter 11, article 1, section 35.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter 11, article 1, section 35, is
amended to read:


Sec. 35. RESERVED REVENUE FOR STAFF DEVELOPMENT;
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 122A.61, subdivision 1, for fiscal years
2012 deleted text begin anddeleted text end new text begin , new text end 2013new text begin , 2014, and 2015 new text end only, a school district or charter school may use revenue
reserved for staff development under Minnesota Statutes, section 122A.61, subdivision 1,
according to the requirements of general education revenue under Minnesota Statutes,
