  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Kandiyohi county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; KANDIYOHI COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Kandiyohi county may sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The sale must be in a form approved by the attorney 
  1.14  general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Kandiyohi county and 
  1.16  is described as:  Lot 1, Block 1, Diamond Woods, Section 28, 
  1.17  Township 120 North, Range 33 West. 
  1.18     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.19  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.20  returned to private ownership.
