  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to international trade and tourism; requiring 
  1.3             the office of tourism in the department of trade and 
  1.4             economic development to devote 20 percent of its 
  1.5             budget to development of international tourism; 
  1.6             amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 116J.615, by 
  1.7             adding a subdivision. 
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 116J.615, is 
  1.10  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.11     Subd. 4.  [INTERNATIONAL TOURISM.] The office of tourism 
  1.12  must use 20 percent of its budget to promote international 
  1.13  tourism.
