A bill for an act
relating to game and fish; modifying license fee for nonresident fishing;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97A.475, subdivision 7.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97A.475, subdivision 7, is amended to
read:
Fees for the following licensesdeleted text begin ,deleted text end to be issued to
nonresidentsdeleted text begin , aredeleted text end new text begin must be an amount equal to the amount of license fees and surcharges
charged to a Minnesota resident for an angling license in the nonresident's state or
province of residence. Licenses are required for the followingnew text end :
(1) to take fish by anglingdeleted text begin , $34deleted text end ;
(2) to take fish by angling limited to seven consecutive days selected by the licenseedeleted text begin ,
$24deleted text end ;
(3) to take fish by angling for a 72-hour period selected by the licenseedeleted text begin , $20deleted text end ;
(4) to take fish by angling for a combined license for a family for one or both parents
and dependent children under the age of 16deleted text begin , $46deleted text end ;
(5) to take fish by angling for a 24-hour period selected by the licenseedeleted text begin , $8.50deleted text end ; and
(6) to take fish by angling for a combined license for a married couple, limited to
14 consecutive days selected by one of the licenseesdeleted text begin , $35deleted text end .
