  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $530,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.9   WomenVenture to be available for the biennium ending June 30, 
  1.10  2001. 
  1.11     $350,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.12  commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.13  the Metropolitan Economic Development Association to be 
  1.14  available for the biennium ending June 30, 2001.
