  1.2             relating to county government; extending the sunset on 
  1.3             county capital improvement bonds; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 1996, section 373.40, subdivision 7. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 373.40, 
  1.7   subdivision 7, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 7.  [REPEALER.] This section is repealed effective 
  1.9   for bonds issued after July 1, 1998 2003, but continues to apply 
  1.10  to bonds issued before that date. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
