by the state auditor; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $586,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008,
and $455,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, are appropriated from the general
fund to the state auditor to help retain staff. The appropriation base for these items is
$472,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $491,000 in fiscal year 2011.

new text begin $210,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, and
$160,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, are appropriated from the general fund
to the state auditor to audit the job opportunity building zones (JOBZ). The appropriation
base for these items is $167,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $173,000 in fiscal year 2011.
