  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for 
  1.3             asbestos sampling and revising management plans for 
  1.4             schools in the West Central Cooperative Service Unit. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; WEST CENTRAL EDUCATIONAL 
  1.7   COOPERATIVE SERVICE UNIT.] 
  1.8      $110,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.9   year 1996 to the department of education for the West Central 
  1.10  Educational Cooperative Service Unit whose boundaries coincide 
  1.11  with development Region IV.  The appropriation shall be used for 
  1.12  asbestos sampling in school buildings in Region IV and revising 
  1.13  management plans as required by the United States Environmental 
  1.14  Protection Agency.
