A bill for an act
 relating to health; appropriating money for a health care worker pilot project.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION; HEALTH CARE WORKER PILOT PROJECT.

$75,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of health for a health care worker pilot project at Sholom
nursing homes. The pilot project must focus on bridging differences between Muslim health
care workers and Jewish patients. The pilot project must provide education to staff and
residents in bridging cultural differences and address culture-specific attitudes and values.
