  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to metropolitan transit; appropriating money 
  1.3             for security measures on metropolitan council transit 
  1.4             vehicles. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   metropolitan council for the purpose of providing security 
  1.9   measures on transit vehicles, including but not limited to 
  1.10  plexiglas enclosures for drivers and on-bus surveillance 
  1.11  cameras.  This appropriation is available until expended. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [APPLICATION.] 
  1.13     Section 1 applies in the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, 
  1.14  Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington.
