A bill for an act
relating to counties; providing for a rate increase
determination for the Ramsey County nursing facility;
appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004,
section 256B.434, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.434, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin Rate increase effective july 1, 2005. new text end

rate year beginning July 1, 2005, a facility in Ramsey County
licensed for 180 beds shall have its operating payment rate as
determined under this section and in effect on June 30, 2005,
increased by $4.98. The increase under this subdivision shall
be included in the facility's total payment rates for the
purposes of determining future rates under this section or any
other section.

commissioner of human services for the biennium beginning July
1, 2005, for the purposes of section 1.
