  1.3             graduation aid; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ADULT GRADUATION AID.] 
  1.6      The sums indicated in this section are appropriated from 
  1.7   the general fund to the department of education for adult 
  1.8   graduation aid according to Minnesota Statutes, section 124.261, 
  1.9   subdivision 1: 
  1.10        $3,741,000      ......     1996 
  1.11        $4,431,000      ......     1997 
  1.12     The 1996 appropriation includes $336,000 for 1995 and 
  1.13  $3,405,000 for 1996. 
  1.14     The 1997 appropriation includes $601,000 for 1996 and 
  1.15  $3,830,000 for 1997.
