  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; providing cost-share 
  1.3             assistance to the city of Thief River Falls for 
  1.4             dredging on the Red Lake river; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [RED LAKE RIVER DREDGING; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $118,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of 
  1.9   Thief River Falls to finish dredging projects within the city on 
  1.10  the Red Lake river and the Thief river.  This appropriation is 
  1.11  in addition to the appropriation in Laws 1997, chapter 216, 
  1.12  section 5, subdivision 3.  This appropriation is available to 
  1.13  the extent matched by an equal amount of nonstate money until 
  1.14  June 30, 2001.
