  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to subdivision regulation; requiring 
  1.3             disclosure on conveyances as to compliance with 
  1.4             subdivision regulations; proposing coding for new law 
  1.5             in Minnesota Statutes, chapters 394; 462. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [394.363] [FILING AND RECORDING REQUIREMENT.] 
  1.8      A county recorder or registrar of titles may not record or 
  1.9   file a deed or other instrument of conveyance dated after the 
  1.10  effective date of the act for which a certificate of value is 
  1.11  required under section 272.115, or any deed or other instrument 
  1.12  of conveyance dated after the effective date of the act from a 
  1.13  governmental body exempt from the payment of state deed tax, 
  1.14  unless the deed or other instrument of conveyance contains the 
  1.15  statement from the local subdivision regulator that the 
  1.16  instrument of conveyance is in accordance with local subdivision 
  1.17  regulations.  The county recorder or registrar of titles must 
  1.18  not accept a certificate unless it contains the required 
  1.19  information. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [462.3586] [FILING AND RECORDING REQUIREMENT.]
