A bill for an act
relating to taxation; allowing sales tax exemption for geothermal equipment;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 297A.67, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 297A.67, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin The loop field collection system, the heat pump,
and charges for installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems are exempt.

occurring on and after July 1, 2007.
