  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transitional housing; appropriating money. 
  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.5      The commissioner of children, families, and learning shall 
  1.6   make a grant to Perspective Inc. to provide transitional housing 
  1.7   services.  $25,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of children, families, and learning for this 
  1.9   purpose.  One or more nonprofit organizations must match this 
  1.10  appropriation with an equal amount of matching funds.  This 
  1.11  appropriation is available until June 30, 2001.
