  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; transferring money 
  1.3             appropriated for the United Nations trade point to the 
  1.4             world trade center. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [WORLD TRADE CENTER APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $450,000 of the amount appropriated to the office of 
  1.8   technology in Laws 1997, chapter 202, article 1, section 13, for 
  1.9   development of a United Nations trade point is transferred to 
  1.10  the Minnesota world trade center corporation in the fiscal year 
  1.11  beginning July 1, 1999.  The transfer agreement between the 
  1.12  office of technology, the University of Minnesota, the 
  1.13  department of trade and economic development, and the Minnesota 
  1.14  world trade center corporation is canceled. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
