  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to community corrections; appropriating money 
  1.3             for a productive day pilot project operated by the 
  1.4             Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted community corrections agency. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of corrections for the fiscal biennium ending June 
  1.9   30, 1999.  The commissioner shall distribute this money to the 
  1.10  Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted community corrections agency for use in a 
  1.11  pilot project to expand the agency's productive day initiative 
  1.12  program, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 241.275, to 
  1.13  include juvenile offenders who are 16 years of age and older.
