  1.2             relating to highways; encouraging cooperation between 
  1.3             road authorities and adopt-a-highway volunteers; 
  1.4             proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.5             chapter 160. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [160.235] [COOPERATION WITH HIGHWAY CLEANUP 
  1.8   VOLUNTEERS.] 
  1.9      To the extent feasible and practicable, road authorities 
  1.10  shall cooperate and coordinate their right-of-way activities 
  1.11  with the highway cleanup efforts of the volunteers participating 
  1.12  in any adopt-a-highway program or similar program to keep the 
  1.13  road, street, and highway rights-of-way free of rubbish.
