  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HIGHER EDUCATION APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.7      The sums in the columns marked "APPROPRIATIONS" are 
  1.8   appropriated from the general fund or other named fund to the 
  1.9   agencies and for the purposes specified in this act.  The 
  1.10  listing of an amount under the figure "1998" or "1999" in this 
  1.11  act indicates that the amount is appropriated to be available 
  1.12  for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998, or June 30, 1999, 
  1.13  respectively.
