A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; appropriating money for improvements to Carver County
State-Aid Highway 18 in the cities of Victoria, Chaska, and Chanhassen.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to Carver County for environmental analysis, property or
permanent easement acquisition, design, engineering, and construction of improvements to
Carver County State-Aid Highway 18, known as 82nd Street West, and associated trails,
from Bavaria Road to Trunk Highway 41 in the cities of Victoria, Chaska, and Chanhassen.
This appropriation is available when the commissioner of management and budget determines
that an amount sufficient has been committed to complete the project, as required by
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502. This is a onetime appropriation.
