A bill for an act
relating to arts and culture; appropriating money to commission music for State
Capitol grand opening.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION; STATE CAPITOL GRAND-OPENING MUSIC.
$5,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the
commissioner of administration for a grant to the Minnesota State Band to commission
original music for the State Capitol grand opening. The appropriation is available until
expended.
EFFECTIVE DATE.
This section is effective the day following final enactment.
