  1.2             relating to employment; specifying that a portion of 
  1.3             appropriations for opportunities industrialization 
  1.4             centers be reserved to match federal welfare-to-work 
  1.5             funds. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [OPPORTUNITIES INDUSTRIALIZATION CENTERS 
  1.8   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.9      Fifty percent of the state appropriation for opportunities 
  1.10  industrialization centers for the biennium ending June 30, 2001, 
  1.11  must be used to match federal funds for welfare-to-work programs.
