A bill for an act
 relating to capital improvements; extending availability of an appropriation for
Browns Valley flood relief; amending Laws 2007, chapter 122, section 1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2007, chapter 122, section 1, is amended to read:


Section 1. BROWNS VALLEY FLOOD RELIEF APPROPRIATION.

$2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of public
safety for a grant to the city of Browns Valley to be used for relief from damage caused by
the flooding of March 2007. This appropriation is available until June 30, deleted text begin 2009deleted text end new text begin 2010new text end .
