  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; recalculating the 
  1.3             capitation payments to Itasca county.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [RECALCULATION OF THE CAPITATION PAYMENTS FOR 
  1.6   ITASCA COUNTY.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of human services shall recalculate the 
  1.8   capitation risk adjustment factors within the capitation rate 
  1.9   paid to Itasca county under Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.10  256B.69.  The recalculation must be based on complete encounter 
  1.11  data for Itasca county for the four quarters of July-September 
  1.12  2001, October-December 2001, January-March 2002, and April-June 
  1.13  2002.  The commissioner shall pay to Itasca county the 
  1.14  difference between the capitation rate paid for the 
  1.15  aforementioned time period and the recalculated capitation rate.
