A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; providing funding for mental
health counseling for farm families; appropriating
money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING FOR FARM FAMILIES.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2006 and $100,000 in fiscal year
2007 are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture for transfer to the Board of Trustees of the
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for mental health
counseling support to farm families and business operators
through farm business management programs at Central Lakes
College and Ridgewater College.
