  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; allowing certain 
  1.3             electric assistive devices on state trails; proposing 
  1.4             coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 85. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [85.0151] [ELECTRIC PERSONAL ASSISTIVE DEVICE 
  1.7   ON STATE TRAILS.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, a person 
  1.9   with proof of an infirmity or disability may operate a two-wheel 
  1.10  or three-wheel electric personal assistive device on any state 
  1.11  trail under section 85.015. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
