  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; requiring pornography blocking 
  1.3             software for schools. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [BLOCKING SOFTWARE.] 
  1.6      The commissioner of children, families, and learning shall 
  1.7   purchase, develop, or contract for the development of software 
  1.8   that will block the transmission of pornography over the 
  1.9   internet to schools.  This software must be available to 
  1.10  districts over the Minnesota learning network.  All districts 
  1.11  must use the software to block the electronic transmission of 
  1.12  pornography within school buildings.
