  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to firefighting; authorizing preparation of a 
  1.3             training video for trustees of voluntary and 
  1.4             professional firefighter relief associations; 
  1.5             appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [TRAINING VIDEO.] 
  1.8      The Minnesota state colleges and universities FIRE/EMS 
  1.9   center, in cooperation with the Minnesota fire relief 
  1.10  association coalition, shall arrange for the production, 
  1.11  duplication, and distribution of a training video designed for 
  1.12  the trustees of voluntary and career firefighter relief 
  1.13  associations.  The center may accept state and nonstate money to 
  1.14  cover the costs of carrying out this section. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.16     $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the board 
  1.17  of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities for 
  1.18  the purposes of section 1.  The appropriation must be matched by 
  1.19  at least $20,000 in nonstate money.
