  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to public health; providing information on 
  1.3             hepatitis; amending Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 
  1.4             135A.14, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 135A.14, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 6.  [HEPATITIS INFORMATION.] The commissioner of 
  1.9   health shall provide to all public and private post-secondary 
  1.10  educational institutions information regarding the transmission, 
  1.11  treatment, and prevention of hepatitis A, B, and C.  The 
  1.12  institutions shall make this information available to all 
  1.13  students and recommend that all students be immunized.
