  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             Minnesota historical society for a grant to 
  1.4             Farmamerica. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; FARMAMERICA.] 
  1.7      $200,000 is appropriated from the general fund for fiscal 
  1.8   year 1998 and $200,000 for fiscal year 1999 to the Minnesota 
  1.9   historical society for a grant to Farmamerica.  Notwithstanding 
  1.10  any other law, this grant may be used for operational purposes. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1997.
