  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing for a grant to the 
  1.3             range association of municipalities and schools; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND 
  1.8   LEARNING.] The sum indicated in this section is appropriated 
  1.9   from the general fund to the department of children, families, 
  1.10  and learning for the fiscal year designated. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [RANGE ASSOCIATION OF MUNICIPALITIES AND 
  1.12  SCHOOLS.] For a grant to the range association of municipalities 
  1.13  and schools to provide a coordinated response to declining 
  1.14  enrollment in the region's school districts, including analysis 
  1.15  of curriculum, transportation, and district administration. 
  1.16       $250,000     .....     2000
  1.17     This appropriation is available until June 30, 2001.
