relating to economic development; appropriating money for the border-to-border
broadband account.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BORDER-TO-BORDER BROADBAND FUND ACCOUNT.

new text begin $100,000,000 for the biennium is appropriated from the general fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for deposit in the
border-to-border broadband fund account created under Minnesota Statutes, section
116J.396, and may be used for the purposes provided in Minnesota Statutes, section
116J.395. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2019.
