relating to health; awarding a grant to a statewide advance care planning resource
organization; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $....... is appropriated in the biennium ending June 30, 2017, from the general fund
to the commissioner of health to award a grant to a statewide advance care planning
resource organization that has expertise in convening and coordinating community-based
strategies to encourage individuals, families, caregivers, and health care providers to begin
conversations regarding end-of-life care choices that express an individual's health care
values and preferences and are based on informed health care decisions.
